Earlier this year, I had the privilege of photographing an Evening With Dr Zahi Hawass, an event organised by Archaeological Paths at the Palais des Congres in Montreal.
The doctor is a celebrity in the world of archaeology. He is a renowned Egyptologist, former Minister of Antiquities in Egypt, and responsible for many recent discoveries (e.g the pyramid of Khufu), and for pioneering methods of mummy-scanning to learn more about the lives and deaths of the Pharaohs.
Attendees were treated to a presentation by Dr Hawass, followed by a book signing.
