Earlier this year, I had the privilege of photographing an Evening With Dr Zahi Hawass, an event organised by Archaeological Paths at one of Montreal’s premiere event venues, the Palais des Congres.
The doctor is a celebrity in the world of archaeology. He is a renowned Egyptologist, former Minister of Antiquities in Egypt, and responsible for many recent discoveries (e.g the pyramid of Khufu), and for pioneering methods of mummy-scanning to learn more about the lives and deaths of the Pharaohs.
Attendees were treated to a presentation by Dr Hawass, followed by a book signing.
