I’m a professional photographer offering individual tailor-made photo workouts for anyone in the Montreal area who wants to take their photography to the next level.
What is a photo workout?
A guided photo workshop exercising and improving your photo skills. You’ll exercise your mind and eye by thinking through compositions as we walk in the urban environment. My focus is on helping you see the beauty in the everyday, training your eye so that you can find a process to make the kinds of pictures you want to make, and helping you to think about photography in a way that will enable you to compose interesting images wherever you are.
Who is it for?
You might be completely new to photography, you might be an amateur wanting to turn semi-pro, or a semi-professional wanting to turn pro. You could be a seasoned photographer in a creative rut. Interested in honing your craft? Get in touch.
How does it work?
The only fixed elements are the duration – 3 hours – and the focus – composition. Other than that we can be flexible, and adapt the session and its methods to meet your needs and goals as a photographer.
How do I book a session?
First, email me directly ([email protected]) or use the contact form. Tell me a bit about yourself, your photography, what you are looking to improve, and when you’d like to have a session. Once we’ve agreed on a date and you’ve made the booking payment we’ll have a Zoom call to discuss the upcoming session in more detail. I’ll work out a route for our walk that matches your needs.
Cost: $400+tx for 3hrs
I also offer a 1 hour video call in the days or weeks following the session. In these we go over what you learned in the session, critique your photos and any post-production you’ve done. We also look ahead to what you might focus on in future.
